Month of July and August

Elly enjoyed her spageti and mushroom soup at Italianies. Brought her for a day out after her medical check up dont show any negative signs. Its only poor oral hygiene that caused her swollen gums and bleeding sometimes.

No, no, I dont want Daddy's spageti with chillies. Although Sky and myself love chillies and spicy food, Elly has not inherit even a slight % of it..:) Anyway, she is like Daddy, loves to eat mee and spagetti.

Seafood spagetti.. yummy~. Look at the generous mussels, clams and juicy prawns.

HUKM Paediatrics clinis. It has a mini playground for the kids to play while waiting for their turns to see the Doctor.

Elly enjoying herself at the slides. I think she slide more than 10 times on it..
The House.

Some maths and the multiply table. I wonder anyone will read it when they are sick?

Emmy in the park. Brought her along to jog in the park. Ended carry her for most of the times and i think that help in burning more calories.

Congratulations to Jason and ST. Twins (boy and girl) for the lucky couple!

Escalator Phobic and Escalator Maniac

Elly--> escalator phobic
Whenever see escalator, need to find 'sponsor' to carry her on the escalator. She will shiver and cry for help and stand still.

Emmy-->escalator maniac
Whenever see escalator, ask to be put on the escalator on her own and she wants to walk up and down the escalator.

Until today, Elly managed to overcome her fear of escalator when i shared with her that her lil sister, Emmy can go up and down the escalator on her own and how 'mei-mei' enjoyed standing on the escalator on her own. She now can stand one escalator on her own by holding Daddy and Mommy's hands.

Elly is admitted to HUKM for one day

Elly had fever for the past 2 days and she vomitted yesterday morning. Perhaps was due to her bleeding gums, there was blood in her vomit. To be safe, we sent her to HUKM for check-up. The doctor on call was contemplating whether to admit her or not. After further checks and there were also some rashes on her face and hands, she decided to admit Elly.

The blood test was normal, with normal counts of haemoglobin, white blood cells and platelet. However, her APTT count was high. I was told it is the tendency to blood. So does that explain why Elly has bleeding gums? (donno yet..)

At the children ward, Elly was given Bed11, 4A. It is spacious as it catered for a three-fold chair which can be extended to a bed at night for parent, a children bed, 1 chair and 1 cabinet. As bubble as she was, she refused to rest on the bed, insisted to sit on the 3-fold chair and asked me to rest on the bed instead.

At about 5pm, the doctor on call, Dr Juanita came for rounds. After some interviews and checking on her body and her gums, she gave green light that Elly can be discharged, only with an additional tube of blood for further test. phew.. what a relief!

Will be coming back to the paed clinic and dental clinic on next Tuesday for further checks. Diagnosis given for the referal was gingivitis?? Hope so... and of course not some other illness.
